CORMCC 1:8th Offroad State Titles

Hi all, well the ACT Titles has been run and won. What an event, the weather was fantastic....on Friday and Sunday. The track was superb, probably one of the fastest tracks we have ever had.

Big thanks to the CORMCC crew for the work leading up to the event and a big thank you to the canteen crew (Kev and Kel) working all weekend to feed us and Brian in the control tower to keep us on time.

The event started on Friday with open practise and two rounds of controlled practise seeding in the afternoon. Saturday was qualifying day with 6 rounds completed. It was bitterly cold with strong winds, the winds made for some interesting handling characteristics especially over the large jump at the back of the track. Sunday was finals day, special mention to a couple of local drivers, Kye Cook bumping all the way from the C Main into the A Main final, Shane Kelly bumping all the way from the E Main to the A Main - great effort guys.
