In 1988, Losi took the RC racing world by storm with the JRX2 1/10 scale buggy. In just two years, the 1/10 scale JRXT monster truck was introduced, further propelling the popularity of RC vehicles. The highly competitive buggy class inspired racers to convert their JRX2 buggies into trucks, creating a new truck class that would soon rival the buggies in popularity.
